LOOK UP! Barnstorming Opportunities
Build A Plane would like to visit you to promote aerospace and aviation education in the schools. Our fleet of airplanes and pilots include the following:
- Lyn Freeman in the Build A Plane Glasair. This airplane was built by Washington high school students as part of Glasair's Two Week to Taxi program. The Glasair is based in Los Angeles, California.
- Tim Smith in the Frankfort HS Aviation Academy's 1940 Aeronca Chief. This airplane was brought back into service by high school students in Frankfort, Kentucky.
- Katie Prybl in GAMA's Cirrus. GAMA in an important partner in promoting aviation education. Katie is based in Washington D.C.
During a visit, we will meet with airport/FBO staff, educators, aircraft maintenance personnel, and other folks interested in using aerospace/aviation to increase student learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
